"The Trickster" is a card owned by my client.
Wherever the honest work of the Golden Goddess and the Shaper are being done, the Trickster is also there, resting in their long shadows. The patron to thieves, scoundrels, and all manner of criminals and conmen. The Trickster thrives on the take, on the heist, and the idea of overturning fortune. Just as citizens may pray to the Golden Goddess for fortune to bless them, the Trickster is invoked to steal that blessing.
The majority of the Trickster’s followers and faithful are thieves and beggars, who crave fortune or need luck with them, however, this is just one aspect of the Trickster. The Trickster is also said to bless all those that crave Freedom - this is why many Freebooters, pirates, and independent contractor ships/vessels keep an altar to the Trickster.
The Trickster is said to be a “child” of the Golden Goddess, as they are opposite sides of the same coin. He is usually depicted as a humanoid figure in thief-like armor, about his waist is a belt of countless keys, and covering his face is a simple fox mask (some say in mockery of the Ancestor’s wolf mask).
